Attorney Training and Certification Requirements

Access to the Court's CM/ECF (Case Management/Electronic Case Filing) System is made available through a user login and password assigned by the Court. To obtain a valid login and password from the Court, a party must have:

• filled the Electronic Case Filing System Attorney Registration form or the Application for Limited Use form and
  
• submitted the Affidavit of Registration in Another District in CM/ECF requesting a waiver of the requirement to attend ECF training in the district of Puerto Rico, or
  
• successfully completed the attorney computer based training (CBT) modules posted on our website at http://www.prb.uscourts.gov
  
• registered for training by filling the registration form available at our website at http://www.prb.uscourts.gov.cmreg and successfully completed Court's instructor-led training program on the System.
